To me, photography is about telling an authentic story in pictures - making the viewer feel something.
I’ll be working unobtrusively to capture your wedding day in a natural and artistic way. I shoot in a reportage (or documentary) style that is honest, informal & relaxed. I observe and capture real emotions, connections, personalities, epic moments, small details and atmosphere of every unique couple, guest and wedding. The result is timeless photographs that you can look back on in years to come, re-living the moments like they happened only yesterday.
Photography is like magic, Freezing moments so they can be re-lived over and over, like no time has passed. I still look through old family albums and get lost in it all. That's what this is all about really, isn't it?
I am open, honest and try to keep things nice and simple for my clients. My packages and pricing are laid out clearly and you shouldn't have a problem finding the right one to cover all the aspects of your wedding day. That said, I'd be more than happy to customise coverage to suit you and your wedding (just drop me a message). I believe it's important to be as flexible as possible when it comes to what my clients want. I love what I do and care about the people who have entrusted me to capture their special day.
Of course, taking the pictures on the day is just a part of my work. It's a common misconception that a photographers day starts and ends on the day of the wedding. Hours are invested before the wedding, in researching the venue(s), client meet-ups, admin and other preparations. Then, after the wedding, a significant amount of time is taken to carefully select and edit the images from the day, creating a combination of colour and black & white images.

I remain on-hand to my clients before, during and after the wedding day. Every wedding, like every couple, is unique and that’s what makes what I do so interesting (and so much fun!).
BEFORE
Quotation & Booking: Once I know a bit more about your plans I will provide you with a quotation. A deposit will be required in order to secure your date. Once received, I will send you an invoice detailing the deposit amount paid, and the remaining balance (inc. due by date). I offer payment plans (deposit plus two equal payments) to my clients to help spread the cost.
Me & you: It sounds obvious but getting to know each-other a little bit before the big day is really important. I recommend a pre-wedding meet up (where possible), ideally at the venue but can be somewhere else (or over Teams). It also gives us an opportunity to go through the itinerary for the day and for you to ask me any questions, make specific requests or address any concerns that you may have. An engagement/pre-wedding shoot (available as an add-on) is also a good opportunity to get to know each other a bit. These start from £80 depending on location. Meeting me in advance will hopefully mean that you'll be far more comfortable around me on your wedding day, leaving you to simply enjoy every moment while I capture you both looking happy and relaxed.
Planning: Now I know a bit more about you, I will get in touch with your wedding planner or venue coordinator to introduce myself. I’ll also research the venue(s) to make sure I’m 100% prepared for the day itself, leaving me to focus on the photography.
DURING
The Morning: The day usually starts with Bridal prep shots... or Groomsmen prep shots... or both! (it depends on what you want and where you are getting ready). At this stage I also like to get pictures of shoes, rings, and other special little items. This is also a great time to photograph any little ones running around.
The day: I will be unobtrusive, with only a minimal number of posed shots that we will have discussed and planned beforehand. Because I photograph in a documentary-style, I’ll be blending in with the guests as much as possible and capturing all those natural moments.
The evening: After the first dance, I will usually stick around for a little while before leaving you and your guests to enjoy the rest of your celebrations.
AFTER
Preview: I will send a few 'teaser' images within a week of the wedding. These can be used for thank-you cards and/or your social media accounts.

I will post the package to you if I am unable to deliver it in person. *Digital & Digital + packages only.
Your 10x10" Fabric covered Fine Art Album with photographer-selected images from the big day! *Digital + package only.
Additional services: Additional USB or photo boxes, bespoke wedding albums and/or artworks are available and can be discussed at any stage. I work with premium British album maker, Folio, to create authentic and beautiful storybooks and other products to display the images from your day.
